John has been a County Councillor for almost 12 years. Four years ago he was the Chairman of the County Council.

His working life has been spent in Local Government, mostly in the East Hampshire area. He is married with two adult children and three grandchildren.

Recently elected to the County Council, Vaughan has been active in the area for many years, serving on Petersfield Town Council for 10 years and being Mayor on two occassions. He is Chairman of Petersfield Museum and the Flora Twort Gallery, involved in a project to install the largest solar thermal scheme in the UK at the Open Air Swimming Pool, hasorganised serveral major events in Petersfield and been active in Sheet Village.

Vaughan is actively involved in encouraging young people into engineering, is a consultant for Young Engineers for Britain and on the Board of Greenpower Motor Racing for schools.

Sam has lived in Bramshott since 1985 and he and his wife, Anna, brought up their two daughters there. He was elected as CountyCouncillor for the Headley Division in 2005 and serves on two of the regulatory committees of the Council. He is also a member of the East Hampshire HAT (Hampshire Action Team). Sam and Anna are both East Hampshire District Councillors for Bramshott & Liphook.

Elected in 2005, Mark is a Trustee of Age Concern Hampshire, the Gilbert White House and OatesMuseum in Selborne and the Wield Educational Trust. At the County Council, Mark is a member of the Safe and Healthy People Scrutiny Committee (which includes Adult Social Care) and the Pension Fund Panel. He is also a member of the East Hampshire Road Safety Council.
Mark is married to Lucy and they have three sons in their twenties. They live in Upper Wield near Medstead. He takes a great interest in rural affairs and is a keen walker and skier.
